Two Words: Cloud Control

My buddy John Rodino introduced me to this band. Cloud Control is a Australian indie rock group who are really extraordinary. They combine a Vampire Weekend-esque (whom they toured with) style with glowing vocals reminiscent of the Mamas & Papas, or Grizzly Bear. The Black Cab Sessions is a website where artists ride around London in English cabs and do small performances. The minimalistic approach always leads to bands taking unique approaches to their songs. Here Cloud Control remains rhythm and vocal heavy. Sexy stuff.
